Balance Your Junk Food Life!

True Confessions: I'm an American Idol junkie. I'm also a Dancing with the Stars junkie. And, this time of year, I'm a basketball junkie. (I have all 6 of my brackets filled - biased of course). Yes, I'm addicted to these things. Why? They are fun, and add a little zest to life.

What happens, though, when the external things in your life fill it with too much junk food? Are you taking the time to make time for you?

If you find that you are surrounded by "Junk food" , take the time to  write out some daily affirmations:

  • Thank you for the joy today brings.
  • I am grateful for the challenges that will teach me the lessons I need to know.
  • My attitude is my decision.
  • Keep my thoughts focused on gratitude
Well, you get the idea. It balances out a healthy YOU, and also makes you realize that it's great that cute David A. sang a great song last night and was in his moment. You need to be sure that you live in YOUR moment, too.

Just food for thought on a Wednesday!
