Happy Birthday and other November Musings....

November ushers in change. No, not the kind you put in a piggy bank, it's the restless change. November, to me, is a time to reflect on what is important. Hey, it's the Scorp in me.

My birthday was yesterday, so I had a boatload of time to reflect back on my 50 years of birthdays, those stood out, the happier ones the not so happier ones. Conclusion? A wise friend once told me: "Any day you wake up without a toe tag is a great day".

I forgave my significant other when no card appeared on the counter, no little gift, no nothing. Well, sorta. If any of you have been privy to my readings, I always say - regardless of what is going on with your relationship, a birthday is a special day and should be at LEAST acknowledged.

Later, 3 roses appeared, with a beautiful card of an angel on it. That was a beautiful gesture. I am simple - don't want jewelery, or anything fancy. Just a token that I am special to him and something beautiful and simple is plenty.

As the holidays approach, and with the never ending commercialism that Christmas has become, stores are decorating even before Halloween with all kinds of gift ideas. Thus, anxieties start to enter into the minds of those that feel everyone needs something. But, really - what do we NEED? I am coming up with a nice list that is very economical, that may assist you in giving those you love a thoughtful gesture that says, "You're special to me" (However, our piggy banks are a little tight right now).

And, while I'm on the subject of  November - if you need to know what your forecast is for the month, I am available for your calls.

Remember: It's ALL Good! (Even the things you don't want to hear eventually come out for your higher good anyway!)

Make it a great Monday!
Sending you angels,
Jane
