I, Robot?

Does it ever feel like you're just going through the motions of life without really participating in life, itself? Your routine is set out - you have your daily list that you try to adhere to. Pick up the kids, drop them off, pick them up; go to the store, don't forget the milk, make dinner, clean up - the list goes on and on, and meanwhile you feel as if you are merely "doing" what others have outlined for you to do.

Somewhere on that list, you must add that there needs to be something for you. I don't care if it's buy a bouquet of flowers, or a juicy romance novel, you need to do something for YOU.

Too often we get caught up in routine. Some routines are good - get up, brush your teeth, smile in the mirror. However, other routines become mundane and we need to mix it up a bit. Yes, you have OBLIGATIONS. This does not mean that through these 'obligations' that you cannot find ten minutes to step outside the list and do something fun and whacky for you, right?

Smile more. You'd be amazed at what this will accomplish for you. Laugh more. This achieves so much for your inner being. Take time to smell the flowers, or just look at a sunset.

Don't be a robot of your own life. Live. That's what it's all about, clap, clap.
