Life comes at you fast
I love those ads for that auto insurance company. Life DOES come at you fast. So why is it that when we are in a great deal of pain, it seems to drag on and on and on? Thinking. I did a lot of thinking this past weekend about the multitude of people that are allowing life to pass them by while they hang onto something that doesn't serve them.
Relationships should not be something that you pine away for, waiting for the important phone call or email that you'll just die from unless you get it. You should not waste a beautiful day outside, hybernating in your cave with the blinds drawn and the lights off because "Mr. I Think Is Wonderful, but Ignoring Me" hasn't called. And crying. Oh my word. The many tears that have been shed over heartache could fill the oceans of the world.
Life does come at you fast...and in some cases furious. It isn't always sunshine, lollipops and roses, and although we try very hard sometimes to view the world with our Pollyanna rose-colored glasses, sometimes - just sometimes - we are forced to deal with the lemons, even if we aren't in the mood for lemonade.
Now according to the Laws of Attraction (which seem to be the idea of the moment), we are responsible for everything that we attract to us for some reason or another. If you want something, you need to be very clear about what you want. Otherwise, the Universe hands you a bit of this and a tad of that and a touch of whatever. (Sounds like a bad recipe from Foodtv.com).
Life comes at you fast. What do YOU want to flavor it with? Tears and depression or rose petals? Truly the choice is yours. This lifetime that we are blessed with is but a mere blip on the Universal radar screen of eternal life. How do you want your blip? I prefer mine with lox and cream cheese, hold the tears for someone that matters.
