Love & Marriage..... Arizona Style!
The bride wore a white bikini, with "Mrs. Wilkins" embroidered across
the back side of the lower half. A darling white lace overlay (ok, it
was a swim suit cover up) added the touch of lace, and she carried a
single tangerine colored rose. The groom wore Nike swim trunks. God
provided the most stunning backdrop as a setting for these two
wonderful people. Family from both sides gathered together, along with
a few select friends to witness and to be there for each.
All in all, without a doubt, it was probably the most unique wedding
that I have had the honor to officiate over. Their vows were beautiful,
and they incorporated the children that they each inherited by
marriage. With their permission, I'm including some photos for you.
And, yes, even their dog, Rodeo, played a small role in the ceremony.
Afterward, they sped off in their boat, to enjoy the rest of the day - their first day - as husband and wife. What a joy!
