Mid-Week Musings...
Something is going on out in the Universe right now - several planets are squaring off or trining something, in conjunction with yet another planet that is out of whack with one that is having a bad hair day, (or something like that) according to an astrology friend I have. I was sent this ominous email that was littered with all sorts of adjectives that I found a bit spooky.
Obviously astrology isn't too clear to me. (Probably because I never could keep the cast of characters straight and what role they were playing at the time...When I hear "Pluto" I time-warp back to Disney Land and lose the train of thought).
"So, what's the bottom line?" I ask - eager to understand, and 'cutting to the chase' so to speak. It would appear that this cosmic energy is causing a lot of uneasiness, and apprehension. Oh, so this is where anxiety is created! (And all this time I thought that was just life. Good days, bad days). Well, now we have planetary alignment to blame it on. Yippie.
Something else that has been bugging me since Saturday evening when my Kansas Jayhawks were ousted out of the NCAA tournament by, um, who was it? Oh, yeah, UCLA. Gerrr. (No offense Bruin Fans).
Ok, back to what is bugging me is that I find March Madness to be the most exciting time of year for sports, and this beats StupidBowl, um, I mean Super Bowl, hands down. Yet, none of my friends seem to understand my obsession with it. *sigh*. I suppose unless you've completed your own brackets, studied "bracketology", and have experienced the joy of guessing the right outcome- well, it's something that probably will elude you. Try it next year. It's fun. Truly. Oh, and for those that care, I picked Florida and OSU to go to the finals....
How about Angelina and Brad adopting yet another child! Aren't they something? Saving the world one child at a time. I think they took this "no child left behind" thing seriously!
Anyone watching American Idol? That Melinda is a power house, isn't she? I can see the top three now. But, before you call me the "Idol Psychic" - remember, I thought my Jayhawks would win, too. That rips me of the "Sports Psychic" trophy, too....
Which brings me to a final thought for today:
Why readers can't read for themselves. Ever wonder that? And, I love the classic comeback: "You're supposedly "psychic" how come you didn't see it coming?"
I figure it this way: when there is a vested emotional involvement, forget it. We either do a "Pollyanna" read on the situation (tapping into the fantasy land side) or a "doom and gloom" (afraid to tap into the fantasy land) - either way, when there is an emotional attachment to the outcome, it does skew the read on it.
Only if a reader is able to detach completely, and hear what comes through without bias will he/she get a true read on a personal situation. And all of us are human, which is why we sometimes need clarification on our own personal situations. You mean there is life outside of Keen? *gasp*
What do you think of the new blogs that Keen has offered?
I'm available for your calls, and if I'm not on because I had to run to the Post Office (in the town I'm in they don't deliver mail... more on small town living later) just use the arrange-a-call feature and Keen will contact you when I sign back on.
Make it a Wonderful Wednesday!
Sending you angels,
Jane
