Planets, Angel of Truth, and other February Things!
The infamous "Mercury Retrograde" is now complete. Whew. What a relief. I suppose. Now, something else will come along - a crazy full moon, new moon, half moon, or worse- a quarter moon that squares off with Mohammad Ali..... Granted, I do give some credibility to the planetary alignments because we're all energy, and yup - they sure put out some energy.
Stupid Bowl was Sunday. By the Grace of God the Arizona Cardinals made it to the big dance. Oh, they tried hard to lose that NFC Championship game- they tried real hard, but Kurt Warner said it was in the "Lord's hands" that they won. That said, I guess the Lord decided it was about time (63 years is but a blink of an eye in the Universe). Well, God Bless the Arizona Cardinals. Even though they didn't bring home a trophy, it was fun watching it...I guess.
Valentine's day is looming. I don't know about you, but my significant other shudders at the thought of Valentine's Day. So, do what I'm doing - don't expect a whole lot of hoopa-la over this Hallmark Holiday designed specifically to enhance sales of cards, chocolate and flowers. Not that any of that wouldn't be just swell - it's just that hearing "I love you" on a daily basis SHOULD suffice.
It's kinda like Christmas. I keep a bit of Christmas decor around the house (yes --it is subtle, nothing like having lights still up) just to remind me that Christmas isn't really just one day - it should be lived in my heart on a daily basis. Same with New Year's. Every day is a beginning, and there's a New Year card that is on the book shelf as a reminder.
Happy February. February is represented by The Angel of Truth. Light bulb moments go off, and clarity comes shining in.
