Restoring INSPIRATION in an UNinspiring time
There is a very disturbing trend right now. As the economy appears to go down, domestic violence goes up. In the past eleven days, there have been seven murders - all related to domestic violence in Phoenix. Two of these involved the murder of children. I usually blog about less serious stuff other than something this deep, however, there is a 'LOVE' message in this, so bear with me.
Why is it, I ask you, that when people are the most stressed and tense, they take it out on those that they love the most? More importantly, WHY is it that these stressed, tense people that bring harm to their loved ones, have finances as their number one cause of stress and tension?
Of course we all need basic fundamental "things" to get us by from day to day. But to resort to murdering those that you love, and love you, because more power is given to the all mighty dollar? It makes no sense to me.
Yes, we've all struggled through the difficulties of frantically searching for ways to pay the bills. No one is exempt from this - it happens. And in what is called an "economic crisis" (that we are forced to believe because the news rams it down our throats on a minute-by-minute basis) of course there is an increase in tension and stress. This is still no excuse to blow up at the ones that love and support you through a difficult time.
Loved ones are not "burdens" they are gifts from God. Remember this the next time you've had a stressful day and want to bark at someone. Remember that the loved ones around you give so much - the least you can do is give them a hug. In the long run - it's not money or financial security that gets you through those life-awakening moments, it's those that love you.
Make it a great day!
Sending you angels,
Jane
