Roll with Your ROLE!
A while back, one of the bloggers out here in KeenLand wrote of Birth Order. I read it, and then didn't think too much more about it, except that it made some sense and was well written. Folks, face it, there is truth in Birth Order. When I turned 40, I not only grew stilletos on my heels, I also grew a pair of brass um, well - you know..... because I decided that I was sick and tired of being told what to do. I'm a youngest of three sisters. They all ruled the roost while I just sat around on their eggs.
My significant other (for the sake of simplicity, today I'll just call him "SO" ... as in "so what?") is ALSO a youngest child and he hasn't outgrown that yet. It's an interesting dynamic, to say the least. All I know is that not only do I have to "be the mature one" and "The Voice of Reason" I also can't have MY brat attacks when he is. It's explosive. And, you guessed it- TODAY is his day.
So this, on Tuesday, December 30th, 2008 - the second to the last day of the year - is my "Profound Thought". If you want the relationship to work, and work GOOD - you may just find yourself in a role that you've never really prepared, understood, or experienced. TRY and just roll with your role in the relationship. Tomorrow it may be your day to reverse it!

Have a GREAT evening. I'm available for your calls!
Sending you angels,
