Venus, Jupiter and the Moon – other musings.
It appears that Venus, Jupiter and the moon are going to
have a dinner party – and on February 1, they will appear in the sky as if they
are on top of each other. Makes for interesting viewing, but what does it mean
astrologically speaking? I have no idea. Maybe someone out there in KeenLand
can enlighten me?
I am fortunate to live in an area where the sky is endless,
surrounded in the darkness of the night, unobstructed views with no
streetlights to interfere with the nighttime shows. The stars are so bright
it’s as if I can reach out and touch them. At 3am, they are especially
luminescent, and shower the skies with their brilliance.
Through the wonderment of a small child, I stand – literally
– gaping at this magnificent Universe we live in and often wonder what else is
out there. I’ve been a star-gazer since I can remember lying on my back in the
grass searching the heavens above amidst the twinkling lights that appear in
the sky.
Oh, sure, I know the scientific explanation of stars and
what they are “supposed” to be. Yet, my imagination extends far beyond science
and its limited theories. As a child, I would dreamily imagine that there was a
Star Pilot controlling the direction inside each star, as they maneuvered
throughout the galaxy. They would have the ability to steer closer, and watch
us, and shine their magic on us to fill our souls with the wonderment that
there truly is something greater out “there”.

Often times, as an adult, I still feel those “Star Pilots”.
Sometimes they shine so incredibly brilliant, leaving me transfixed as I watch
in awe the galactic shows; I time warp back to when I was lying on the grass,
staring up at the skies – filled with tranquility and peace. A true slice of
heaven awaits you. Try it!
Meanwhile, please tell me what this Jupiter/Venus/Moon
alignment is “supposed” to mean…..
