Ok, College Football fans, the eternal "Bowl" season is ALMOST over - only one left, and that is the big one! National Champs... then, it's on to March Madness. So, what's so spiritual about all this stuff, Jane (I know you're asking). Well - here's the deal.
On my "Vision Board" stuck in the corner is a little Jayhawk (Kansas, Folks). And next to it is simply the word "CHEERS". Of course I don't feel personally responsible for their success in college football this year, but darn it all - I feel like I made a CONTRIBUTION! I've been THINKING, LIVING AND BREATHING
ORANGES since the BCS extended a bid to Kansas for the Orange Bowl.

The last time Kansas won a bowl game was 1948. It was the Orange Bowl. That's one long dry spell. We totally dismissed the football team, and focused on basketball. Our cheer of "wait until basketball" would ring through the stadium as we were getting pounded by the likes of a Tom Osborne led Nebraska team, or a Barry Switzer led Oklahoma State team....
FINALLY. Kansas wins a bowl game!
