You've Lost that Lovin' Feeling ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, that Lovin' Feelin'.....................................
Ok, so you got dumped by what you think is the love of your
life. You think you are the only one in the entire world that is suffering
through what appears to be the darkest hours of your life. Your environment
suffers because you don't feel like doing anything. Your entire being is
reflected by the messy home you're living in - or going thru the motions of
"living". You feel neglected, tossed away like yesterday's trash. Well,
Jane, this is certainly uplifting today.....
You've lost that Lovin' Feeling....
Too often we take this 'rejection' so personally that we stop
loving ourselves and feel worthless. We actually believe that because ONE person
(out of HOW many in the world) who doesn't have loving feelings for us anymore,
that we are not loveable. Consequently, we take it out on the one person that we
should always love: ourselves.
We resort to all kinds of self-destructive actions that
reinforce how unloveable we are. We don't comb our hair, wear makeup, we only wear old baggy sweats, we mope around the house, let the
dishes pile up - in essence (as mentioned above) our surroundings reflect the
way we feel about ourselves.
Rejection is merely Redirection.....
You absolutely cannot take "rejection" personal. True, it is
your feelings that personally suffer; however, I feel it is a divine
interference intended "redirect" your focus when a relationship breaks up. Face
it, if the relationship were all that great you'd still be in it, right? Be
honest with yourself. You probably found yourself constantly saying, "ok, I
'guess' I can live with this behavior". If you truly are truthful and honest,
you could look back and see that the difficult times definitely overshadowed the
"good" times the two of you had.
It's excusable to mourn the death of a relationship. Allow
yourself a day or two. Then, put a stop to it. Redirect the focus back to
yourself, and get back the loving feelings for you, and the wonderful creation
that you are.
Again: Rejection (in any part of your life) is merely
your angels redirecting you to a better path...one that will be MUCH more rewarding for you!
