Our bodies and our spirits!
Thinking about how we feel physically and mentally, spiritually.. so many things influence our well being.
I have taken up many activities in my life to stay healthy, one of the recent things I have started doing is belly dance!
It is so wonderful and somehow the body and mind connection leads to wonderful energy. Being a woman and seeing how our bodies move in such a unique way, seeing all the people in my class... (and there have been men in class, but not too many)... Noticing our energy levels and ability to concentrate are all enhanced by something we do with our bodies,
I go weekly to a belly dance class and love it. my 2 little girls are learning by me showing them some moves. They are only 8 and 6.
Spiritually it is wonderful to release all inhibitions and get in the groove of the dance and the drum beat. I wish you all good days, and that you also find something you love to do.
I am pretty good at pin pointing what my callers need for their well being, whether it be rest, quiet, relief from negative people... or more expression in the arts or physical realm.
In my own life experience, it is helpful to have a routine that is flexible but also certain things one can "swear by" that keep us happy and grounded during stress... this is so important.
