This spread is based off the casting of the ceremonial circle. I draw on the energies of the four elements of Earth, Air, Fire and Water. While I shuffle the cards I concentrate on the questioners question and I lay out one card in the North for the lessons of Earth. Another card is placed in the East for the lessons of Air, Another card is placed in the south for lessons of Fire and another card is placed in the West for the lessons of Water. Finally a card is placed in the center of the circle to represent the questioner.
I've used this spread for many years now, It is very accurate and it is a great spread for those of you who are followers of earth based spiritualities and ritual magic, however this spread is not excluded soley to pagan and magic practioners
