I love dreams.  I love hearing about them and interpreting them.  I drive everyone crazy with my own dream stories and how they reflect on my life.

I could spend an entire blog recounting all the crazy dreams I've had, and here are a few common classic dreams:

When I was young, I used to have a recurrent dream of being in a car that started moving and I could do nothing to stop it -- obvious lack of control dream -- which not-so-strangely stopped when I learned how to drive.

Ever have dreams where you're nakie in public?  As a child, I used to have one where I was in public in my jammies or with my fav pillow.  Obviously, a dream of fear or embarrassment via exposure.

Also, a common theme, I'm back in school and haven't prepared for a test or it's Christmas Eve and I haven't shopped - both of which would be sacrilege to me, lol.  A lack of preparedness.

I used to have another recurrent dream -- get ready -- multiplying turtles!  I had a large tortoise and a couple box turtles.  In my dreams, my turtles would have babies, and everywhere I looked, more and more turtles would appear.  What this means, I have no clue!

I remember most of my dreams, and can control them to a certain extent.  In dreamland, I've been known to look the boogie man right in the eye and say, "This is only a dream, so go away."

Dreams can turn thematic.  A while back, I had a dream that my daughter was getting married (God forbid, she's 16), was planning her wedding, but I seemed to either miss everything that was happening or turn up late, after everyone had left.  The next night, I was trying to get on a flight, and although I had a ticket, I was the only one without a seat assignment on a totally booked flight.

It occurred to me after these two dreams that I was feeling left out, or left behind, and by paying attention to these dreams, I was able to figure out what was making me feel that way and rectify the problem.

One thing many don't realize is they can appear as different characters in their dream.  You can have a dream involving, say, three different people, and it can represent three different aspects of your life -- all you.

If you are interested in your dreams, start writing them down, even if it's on a pad of paper in the middle of the night.  Think you don't dream?  You do!  You're just not remembering them.

After you start paying attention to your dreams, you will begin to have more control over them.  You can actually decide to dream about different things, and dreamland can be fun, entertaining, and helpful to your conscious mind and waking hours.  Lately, apparently, according to my daughter, I've been laughing out loud in my dreams.

There are so many different types of dreams.  Precognitive dreams, problem-solving dreams, dreams of communication with those passed over, dreams of fear, freedom, and even astral travel.  I could go on and on about dreams, but then, I'd probably put you all to sleep -- where you could dream!!!!!!
