Monday, September 8th  just after midnight, marks the day that the planet of money, expansion and optimism turns direct after nearly 4 months of being retrograde. In a retrograde Jupiter period growth slows, money can be restricted and Jupiter's rays of expansion do not shine as brightly. Projects/situations that have been put on hold or slowed down will start to move forward again. New opportunities will start to emerge in terms of jobs, money, personal expansion, and relationships  If Jupiter is going direct on a personal planet or at a significant degree in your chart, the effects will be intensified. Jupiter moving forward is significant not only to us personally, but to society as a whole and will start to generate growth, expansion and optimism on the world stage.
Monday will be a significant day as not only is Jupiter going direct, there are numerous other transits completing as well such as, Mercury squaring Jupiter, conjuncting Mars.  This will add a great deal of energy to our communication, for better or worse, and usually with Mars tempers can  flare, and feelings and  communications get exaggerated.  Mercury rules vehicles so caution is advised on the road. Mercury-Mars relates to agitation and anger and accidents of every kind. If you are in the path of a hurricane take appropriate steps to prepare. We may see news relating to legal/financial decisions, and decisions relating to foreign partners, anger toward foreigners and more news of the war in Iraq.  Jupiter trining Saturn represents financial security and the desire to secure a solid foundation. We will see news relating to 'partnerships' with foreign powers and people. Pluto goes direct on September 8 as well, and as the God of the Underworld turns around, secrets that have been hidden will start to be revealed, and situations that have been quietly boiling on the back burner will start to boil over the top and expose themselves as issues to be resolved.
Over the next few days, Venus squares Jupiter on the 9th making it a natural day for parties, entertainment or anything of a social nature. Overindulgence will not be uncommon, and it will be harder to stick to work and routines. On Thursday the 11th,  Mars conjuncts Venus and the two team up together for a rare dance at 14 degrees in Libra, and this day will be made for romance. With Mars there is plenty of passion on tap, but strong feeling can emerge before the day is over. And finally on Friday September the 12th, the Sun will oppose Uranus so expect the unexpected. We may see situations crop up relating to weather conditions so again, I urge caution This transit is usually somewhat explosive, therefore a good day to think before acting, lest you wake up on Saturday wishing you had thought things through a little more carefully.
