Happy Birthday America!  As many have a short work week, and we celebrate the 4th of July this weekend,the Moon, which  sets the tone for the day (4th) is in Sagittarius giving us an optimistic, upbeat outlook with a sense of adventure.  Sagittarius is the ruled by Jupiter, the luckiest of signs.
 
Mercury (communication) enters Cancer for a month's stay, the ruler of home/hearth and family, and conversation in general, will shift to a more emotional tone over the next month. Mercury however, is in opposition to Pluto on July 4th, which means there will be a lot of intensity relating to the home, and the emotional life.  Conversations may be intense with the desire to get to the bottom of any situation, and if this is the case, things may be said that you don't want to hear.  Those most affected by this transit will have a personal planet at 1-3 degrees of Cancer, Capricorn, Aires or Libra.This transit is good for getting to the bottom of any situation, but make sure you want to know the answer.
 
Venus is in the last degree of Taurus and this will mark the last day of the planet of love will bask in the warm glow of the most sensual of signs until next year.  Mars, the other ruler of your love life is at 24 degrees of Taurus for another 8 days before entering Gemini.
 
Jupiter is still conjunct Neptune until July 11th.  This will ensure much partying will occur this year, and be sure to be careful if you are driving. Jupiter conjunct Neptune is a tricky transit.  On one hand, it gives us a sense of good fortune and a warm glow about the future. Spiritual insights may be at an all time high, as well as creativity.  But we must remember that Neptune is the God of illusion, delusion and a lack of clarity and Jupiter expands whatever it touches.
 
By the 4th the energy is building for the full moon on July 7th at 5:21 EST at 15 degrees of Capricorn and it is a lunar eclipse. Capricorn deals with business, and building stability of lasting value, but only through hard work and perseverance. As Saturn is the natural ruler of Capricorn there is a tendency toward sternness and being overly critical. The focus will be on structures that last and building a foundation for our future and families.
