Mystical, Magical, Confusing March..
We have entered the New Moon period, with this month's New moon at 17 degrees in Pisces on Friday, March 7 at 12:14PM EST. Pisces is the ruler of the 12th sign of the zodiac, symbolized by the fish. It rules the collective and individual unconscious. It's planetary ruler is Neptune, planet of Universal compassion, sympathy, and misunderstanding/confusion. Neptune can soar to the highest of highs and sink to the lowest of lows. Neptune rules creativity, mystical studies and practices, inspiration, art, creativity and compassion. On the positive side, you may feel a laid back, compassionate, even a dreamy type of energy with lots of creativity. Pisces/Neptune calls for peace, a oneness with others, and an awareness toward suffering of others.
On the negative side, Neptune is the ruler of things that are secret, hidden, and confusing. It also rules drugs and alcohol, and can represent deception and confusion. Herein lies the question: is it real or is it Memorex?
As the New moon is also conjunct transiting Uranus, we may see some surprises, both collectively and individually. For example, many thoughts that Hillary Clinton, who is running for the Democratic nominee for President, was down for the count. She surprised us Tuesday night, winning the delegate rich states of Ohio, and Texas. A winner is unclear, and likely to remain unclear for some time. This won't be the only surprise we can expect, and this New Moon will proably hold some very surprising weather conditions as well, that could create problems.
On an individual level, as well, this New Moon has much to do with tying up loose ends. There is an ethereal quality about Pisces and now is the time to rely more on your instincts and intuition. This month’s issues will involve approaching things with the attitude that less ego is actually more.. Because Mars has just opposed Pluto we are entering this cycle with some unresolved issues and tension.
