The month of August ends with a New Moon at 7 degrees in Virgo on Saturday, August 30. Virgo is a mutable (flexible) sign, the natural ruler of the 6th house of health, work and service. Issues will surface around these areas and this is a perfect time begin a new work/health regimes. Virgo has to do with organization and the picking apart of things, situations, and even people to discover what is not working.
Virgo is an earth sign and deals with the earth--the time of harvest is upon us. While we are no longer as a rule, harvesters of agricultural products, we will harvest the results of past efforts and situations.
Many of us will turn our attention toward themes of increased health and awareness, weight  loss, and other health/self improvement programs.  With heavy Saturn in Virgo as well at 11 degrees, the decisions we make now will have repercussions for a long time to come.
