Pluto moves into Capricorn on Thanksgiving Day in the USA, November 26, 2008 for a 15 year long stay through November of 2024, which will change the world as we know it now. Thus, I am referring to the last degree of Pluto in Sagittarius as 'the gambler's last dance', because as Pluto moves into Capricorn, the era of  the gambler/speculator operating loosely on credit or with other people's  money will come to an end, or at the very least significantly change, and it will become the decade and a half of personal and global responsibility and accountability.

Pluto entered Sagittarius mid-January of 1995, and ends November 25, 2008. The ruler of Sagittarius is Jupiter, the planet of expansion, expansion, expansion.  We saw record expansion of the US stock market and global markets in the nineties. In the 2000's we saw record breaking expansion in real estate and anyone who wanted to buy property could.  The negative side of expansion and enthusiasm is greed and sloppiness and unfortunately this is what we have been seeing for the past year since Pluto originally went into Capricorn for the first 6 months of its journey January 26, 2008-June 14, 2008. During the first 6 months of this year the cracks began to be more than we could ignore in terms of the economy and the oil industry.  Pluto in Capricorn will transform both.

Pluto is the ruler of the collective--that is, it effects everyone living  one way or another. The movement of Pluto into one sign or another defines a generation, the collective movement, and defines what we as a nation, and as one world will be. As Pluto enters Capricorn for the 2ond time in less than 1 year the collective consciousness will begin to become more accountable due to the restrictions being placed upon us now as a direct result of the meltdown of the major economies around the world.

Saturn in Capricorn is the exact opposite of Sagittarius.  Capricorn  represents restriction as opposed to expansion, or controlled growth. Capricorn is the natural ruler of the 10th house of business and  priorities. It rules the earth and the natural resources of the earth. Pluto will transform the way we do business, as well as the earth's most precious natural resource: oil.  Our attention will turn to alternative energy  resources and products, not just oil. By the time Pluto leaves Capricorn we will see more than one alternative energy source readily available. Governments will be more accountable and there will be more transparency.  If Pluto in Sagittarius is represented by the freewheeling gambler-speculator type, Pluto in Capricorn will be the security consciousness business person who does not suffer fools gladly with an eye toward saving our planet from ourselves. Hop on for the ride, the train leaves the station Thursday!  Happy Thanksgiving.
