Cellulite Tips

Ladies when we start to notice that we have cottage cheese thighs it is a sign that our bodies are out of balance. Somehow we failed to exercise properly and eat a nutritious diet. It is important that we care for ourselves and prevent these imbalances in our bodies as much as we possibly can.

Ladies let's talk about cellulite.

I'm not going to go into proper diet regimes. We all know we should eat more fresh fruits and vegetables, lean meats, healthy fats (olive oil, flaxseed oil, fish oil) and less processed foods, and sodas. I'm preaching to the choir. What I will tell you is that there are some small things we can do to help decrease cottage cheese thighs, a dimply bum, and muffin hips.Mind you these are already foods that are either in your pantry or on the grocer's shelf waiting for you to bring them home.

Drinking green tea is very cleansing to the system. Also drinking hot water with the juice of half a lemon twice a day is excellent for cellulite.

Exercises that are good for cellulite include, swimming, walking in water, water aerobics, walking, yoga, and pilates.

There are various herbal remedies that help eliminate cellulite. Body scrubs, self massage, using  a luffa sponge, and body brushing, all increase circulation and help eliminate cellulite.

If I went too far into diet, herbs, drinks, exercise and so on it would be a book and not a blog.

One remedy that I specifically like is mixing up my own oil blend. I start with a sterilized glass jar, put in loose green tea, white tea, and various seaweeds, then jojoba oil. I shake the jar daily for 2-4 weeks. Then strain it with a cheese cloth and pour into clean blue or amber glass bottles. Then I use essential oils, rosemary essential oil is my favorite. Essential oils for cellulite are rosemary, pink grapefruit, fennel, geranium, juniper, black pepper, clary sage, and birch. I usually mix up a good strong 5% of essential oils to carrier oil (the oil that is infused) for my cellulite blend. Use 1-3 different essential oils together for your blend. This cellulite oil is good for rubbing the body after a hot shower, or mixing with sea salt for a body scrub. Use this recipe and it will help improve the condition of your skin, and show less lumps and bumps. That is if you are watching your diet, and exercise habits.
