~ WISDOM, WIT & INSIGHT TO ENLIGHTEN & INSPIRE ~

~HOW TO FIND YOUR STILL, CALM CENTER~
Life gets hectic for us all. Our schedules are over filled. We are running full speed ahead and often can be heard saying "Why am I even doing this" or "I so do not want to be doing this ".

Many times we are feeling as though we "have to or should do" which could mean we are allowing others to direct us on our journey.
Now sure, we have to go to work...who doesn't need food to eat or a home to live in...that's not what I am talking about here.
Somewhere in our society, we started saying if you do for yourself...you are being selfish. Well, if you don't do for yourself....how can you do for others?  Giving of yourself to others without talking time to put back into yourself will burn you out.
Take some time today just for yourself. Below is a simple thought just for you~

How to find your still, calm center

                                     SERENITY

Step one towards Serenity is:

To treat yourself with understanding & compassion.

Step two:

Saying YES to what feeds you emotionally & spiritually is essential for inner peace
& well being.

Saying NO to what drains your energy or pulls you off center is requiste for inner balance.

Wishing you peace in your mind & heart :)

Dear Dr:

I just don't know what others do that do not meditate.  It is my greatest gift to me!  It balances me throughout the day and with practice all can learn to drop into a meditative state for a couple of minutes each day and return refreshed and much more balanced.  Teaching yourself serenity is so valuable and one way to achieve that state is by practicing meditation.

As always Dr you give us information for the heart with healing loving advice.

Rosie,

I just came in from a night time swim under the full moon. Meditation in the water under the full moon is magic~ Water is so peaceful and at the same time invigorating~

Thank you for your support & kindness :)

Once I'd really learnt how to meditate I found the benefits are wonderful.  Sitting in my garden, or at my computer anywhere I feel myself becoming overwhelmed I just do my yoga breathing and come back to a quiet center, and everything looks so much clearer afterwards, I'm trying to get as many of my clients as I can to do it.  For me it's as much an essential of life than having water to drink, also you don't need to be sitting in a quiet room with candles to do it, once you master it you can do it anywhere anytime, it's just that quietening your mind blocking out what is around you and finding the peace inside.
I envy you being able to meditate in water under the moon.
Thank you for once again giving us direction.

Trinity,

Before your go getting envious...may I tell you it is 99 degrees at 10PM here in the desert :)

Meditation saved my sanity and really helps me live from my heart center vs the ego/brain.
We in the western world could really benefit from de-stressing mood altering meditation. I start my day with it and end my night with it....my neighbors might think I am a loon being in the pool at 2AM the nights I work late here on Keen...but I already know that about myself :)
I have been to UK and absolutely loved Glastonbury...magical energy there...so peaceful & energizing...and Stonehenge...what more can I say ...I got up close before they roped it all off :)
You have beautiful night skies there too...I remember how dark the night is in the countryside....I love it :)
