~ WISDOM, WIT & INSIGHT TO ENLIGHTEN & INSPIRE ~

~ IT'S OVER ..........NOW WHAT? ~

" There will be a time when you believe everything is finished.
                      That will be the beginning."
                                                              Louis L'Amour

When you find yourself going through a challenge, you may find yourself facing what appears to be a dead end. You stare at the obstacle, and despite your longing to get beyond it, you can see no doorway that will lead you through it or even take you around it.
Life is full of experiences that will make you feel this way;

Your intimate relationship comes to an end or feels perpetually stuck

Your career feels unsatisfying, like it is going nowhere

A project or person you have invested a lot of time & energy into doesn't work out

Your dream to do or be or achieve something doesn't seem to becoming true

Tragic events occur in life that you can not imagine recovering from

How are you supposed to go forward in such difficult times?
How can you pass through what seems to be impossible roadblocks on your way to happiness?

You can begin by remembering....

Things are not always as they appear to be

What appear to be dead ends in relationships may be powerful opportunities for deeper intimacy, or even a new love beyond what you can even imagine.

What appear to be dead ends in your work/career may be powerful opportunities for new avenues of creativity and new realms of success.

What appear to be dead ends in your happiness may be powerful opportunities for new experiences of rediscovery and regeneration.

What appears to be dead ends in your faith and hope may be powerful opportunities for new levels of wisdom & awakening.

The obstacles in your path are not blocking you, they are redirecting you.
Their purpose is not to interfere with your happiness; it is to point you toward new routes to happiness, new possibilities, new doorways.

" When one door closes another door opens;
but often we look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door,
that we do not see the ones which open for us."

Alexander Graham Bell

Here is the problem....    YOU ARE FACING THE WRONG DIRECTION

Here is the solution.....          SIMPLY TURN AROUND

Turn around and turn away from where you have been and can no longer be.

Turn around and turn away from what has ended.

Turn around and face what lies in front of you: the new path, the new destination, the new doors waiting to be opened.

Until you turn around

You will see nothing but the past with all of it's disappointments
You will only see what is no longer available or possible

THIS WILL ONLY MAKE YOU FEEL DESPONDENT, DEFEATED AND WORST OF ALL .....POWERLESS.

Remember, you get yourself stuck when you stand there and stare at one thing that is no longer possible, and don't look at everything that is now available.

Sending you Light & Love to guide you on your journey today & always~

Sounds like the direction that my life is in right now. everytime I turn around it is opposite of what I want. Financial struggle... Job...overworked...Living arrangements, just got notification that I have to move, (landlord losing the place), Love...well my knight and shining armour got caught at work with another...(Guess I am not the only one)even though he is married(shh)!!!Haven't heard from him in a while. Friends..Well someone told me I am too negative, clouding their vision.
Hopefully some doors will start to open now...
Have a great weekend~Melody~

It's so true. Ending are always new beginnings.  I just lost what I thought was the best job I ever had.  I worked with Adults with brain injuries and helped bring them back after a devastating illness or accident.  I worked for two months and loved it, but then my client fell very ill and we had to release him.  There were no more clients that needed such long term care, and even though I still work with kids with DD, I have found another much better career, and that is doing readings on here.
