These past few weeks have been trying times, but I have found a silver lining hiding behind this black cloud ~
Thank you for all of your prayers & well wishes~ You have made this journey easier for me, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart :)
I am scheduled for surgery Feb 18~ I am looking foward to having this behind me so that I can start the healing process. It is true, the waiting is the hardest part. I am grateful that my Dr moved my surgery date up from March 4, that was just too long for me to wait. I have been using these past few weeks to research all I can about what I am about to experience. The medical information was good but what I found most helpful were the personal stories from other women about their experiences. I would suggest to anyone who is facing a hysterectomy this website www.hystersisters.com. Dr's and medical data can prepare you with knowledge, but personal experiences lend emotional & spiritual knowledge. I know that knowledge is power, and this website is a fantastic source for women who are facing this life changing procedure.
I am in a positive state of mind and my spirits are high. My faith is stronger then my fear. Once again in my life, I am grateful to have such a solid sense of self, and a solid connection to spirit. I know I will be looked after by the angels and that I will find comfort in their company, just as I always have and always will!
I ask for your continued prayers for my family as we take this journey together. My children are old enough to worry, and as a mother, that concerns me the most at this time. This will strengthen them in so many ways. I am certain that when these times come to us in life, it is an opportunity to strengthen our inner self, our soul. They have really come together to help the house run smoothly without mom doing what she usually does. I am so proud of my children, they are fantastic people & they give me such a deep inner strength!
I look forward to returning to work on Keen just as soon as I am able.
