~ Mercury Retrograde is upon us.... for the next 3 weeks! ~
On November 4, 2007, daylight savings times ends as the Fall Equinox begins.
The Equinox is a time of balance. As the Sun enters Libra, the doors open for rebalancing all aspects of your life, ESPECIALLY RELATIONSHIPS!
When you think Libra, imagine & visualize the Scales of Justice, making right or balancing what has been unbalanced. Venus is the ruling planet of Libra.
Mercury Retrograde begins October 11 and completes it's backwards motion on Novemeber 2, 2007.
Retrograde times in general offer a collective space of slowing down.
Think "re", as reviewing, regenerating, reorganzing and relaxing.
Mercury represents the way we think, expressing this energy through talking, writing & teaching. In the bigger picture, it includes perception, commerce & education. In a retrograde, caution is encouraged in these areas. Which means, think before you communicate, especially in an emotionally charged situation. Don't be so quick to sign on the dotted line either.
A big heads up : STAY OUT OF & AWAY FROM EMOTIONAL DRAMA
We are taught to "think" our way through situations. Mercury Retrograde offers the opportunity for non-logical and/or spontaneous events. Think serendipity & synergy...these are our guides for this time period.
This retrograde begins in the high energy sign of Scorpio, returning back one sign into Libra by October 23. By November 2, forward motion returns and this ends the retrograde.
The domain of Scorpio is life force.
Given the "communication" aspects of Mercury, here are some suggestions relative to working with Scorpio's penchant for life force and Libra's desire to create relationships.
1. STAY OUT OF DRAMA
2. Physical exercise is a great way of working with Scorpio
3. Mechanical breakdowns are common during this time. Backup computer files, maintain your car and other mechanical devices you use that require routine care.
4. This is a wonderful time for planning~ possibility realm. Scorpio goes into the depths. Research new topics...explore the unkown.
5. If you are traveling, allow the power of spontaneity to be your guide. Travel delays are common during this time. If you do encounter a delay, ask yourself what new & exciting opportunity awaits you thanks to this unexpectd delay. You would be amazed at how many "chance happenings" occur..keep your eyes & mind open :)
6. REVIEW YOUR RELATIONSHIPS! Which ones do you want to upgrade? Which ones are ready for closure? Maintain your integrity, practice compassion & understanding when you are reviewing...be honest with yourself here!
Mercury Retrograde begins October 11 (9 Scorpio) and ends November 2 (23 Libra). Mercury leaves the "retrograde window" passing 9 degrees Scorpio on November17. This is the closure period. Sometimes events that occur during the retrograde have a strange way of "re"occuring during this phase.
