Spring is here ... what will it bring into your life?
Happy April Fools Day!
In 1581 I would have said Happy New Year to you today!
It was in 1582 that Pope Gregory XIII ordered a new calendar to replace the old Julian calendar. Ancient cultures celebrated New Year's Day on April 1, as it followed the vernal equinox. New Year's was celebrated for 8 days and the celebrations culminated on April 1.
In 2008, we celebrate the season of spring. This season brings new life to us.
The flowers are poking up through the the once frozen ground. The trees are budding and new baby birds can be heard chirping.
With all of this energy surrounding us, this is a great time to plan a new course of action in your own life. Using this time to plot a course for your life this year allows you to utilize the energy that surrounds us, that comes from up above and deep within the planet, in other words...GOING WITH THE FLOW or USING NATURAL RESOURCES :)
