The reason for the season :)
The month of December brings many holidays with it. The theme for many of these holidays is often over shadowed by the hustle & bustle, and the retail giants hoping to be in the black (profit) for the year~
Many of the holidays contain the element of Light~
To me, the symbol of Light represents such important spiritual qualities we need in our lives. Faith, Hope, Charity, Love,Truth,Trust, Wisdom, Insight, Strength, Courage, Angels and One~
~ My Keen name is Light & Love for these exact reasons ~
I know all too well that these happy & festive times are very often very lonely & depressing times for many. The holidays can be very hard to cope with. For this reason, I feel it is especially important to connect with your spirit/soul if you are someone who has a hard time during the holidays. With the costs of everything rising and the expectation of gift giving that comes with this time, your spiritual wellness may come very last on your expense list. Many of us take care of ourself last, and usually not until we experience something that forces us to stop and deal with it. The Universe will not allow us to be "too busy" when it comes to our spiritual wellness & growth. Please do not take care of others and let yourself go this holiday season. You must make yourself a priority. I know this is a strange concept to many as somewhere down the road we were told if we take of ourself, we are selfish. That could not be further from the truth. Taking care of your body, mind & spirit is essential, there is nothing self centered about it. When you are caring for yourself, everyone in your life will benefit too! Have you heard this somewhere before..."what good will you be to others when you are not well yourself?"
My wish for all this holiday season is that you receive the blessings of Light in your spirit and may your inner Light be strenghtened and glow brightly~
