A Tip to Handle Controlling Moms and Moms-in-laws
I'm going to be out of pocket this weekend, enjoying time with one of my daughters out of state. :) I just wanted to take a minute to give you this bouquet and this little tip. Do you have a difficult mother or mother in law who is always giving you unsolicited advice that for the most part, you don't need?
The good news is that unsolicited advice is affection, acceptance and love from Mothers and at the very least it is acceptance from Mother's in Law. They give us all this unsolicited advice that we don't need and then get their feelings hurt when we don't appreciate the driving force behind it.
This mother's day, no matter what else you give or don't give your Mom and/or your Mom-in-law.... Listen to their advice focusing mostly on the love and acceptance behind it, and show them real, (not just polite) appreciation for that love and acceptance. At the very least, it will shock them, and for most mother's it will totally delight them!
To all the mothers, grandmothers, mothers-in-law, step mothers, foster mothers, fill in girlfriend not quite but still a lot like mothers - to all here's a scattered bouqet I've picked from pictures I've taken. I hope you enjoy them. :))
