Best reply to "But I don't FEEL like working out..."
Someone wrote and asked "but what do you when you really, really don't feel like working out?"
Having a whiplash I'm very well acquainted with the answer to that one. All we have to do is tell ourselves the truth.
Try it on, say it to yourself next time you hear that whiny, pouty little voice in your head say, "Yeah, but I don't 'feeeel' like working out." You simply reply "Irrelevant." Because that is irrelevant. How you feel about working out before you work out is absolutely irrelevant. What is extremely relevant is how you're going to feel when you finish your work out and that is almost always twice as good as you feel any day you don't work out.
For me, that's all that matters. Even with a whiplash and almost daily headaches, without
fail I feel better after I work out. Now sure, I quit the granny intervals, I don't work out as forcefully, but I burn my 500 calories every morning come hell or high water. For one thing, one of the best headache remedies (for normal headaches at least) is take two pain relievers and walk it off. So the next time you don't feel
like working out, remind yourself that feeling is simply not relevant. What matters is what you're going to feel like after this work out and after sticking to working out a month, a year, five years, ten years. You do that and ten years from now, most of your friends who are a healthy weight now will be fat then. And you will be the picture of glowing good health at a healthy weight.
Besides, we don't allow ourselves to wash our butts if we don't work out. They
really do go together. We don't absolutely have to work out or wash
our butt every single day.... it's just that we always feel so much
better when we do. :))&-=
Disclaimer: REMEMBER we always boil the frog slowly. We don't wake up one morning weighing 300 pounds and start doing any work out 45 minutes a day. I've started one minute the first day, two minutes the second day, three minutes the same and in a month I was doing 30 minutes. Trust me, over doing workouts in the very beginning is a great way to quit working out before we even get started. And yes, when extremely heavy, the first two months aren't all that pleasurable during the work out. But it's worth it, because then we start feeling our strength. Seriously, nothing feels better than strong and healthy. Working out is a LOT LESS WORK than staying fat.

Its like she was there! I asked about 3 conversations I
had with someone but never told her what was talked about.
She told me how the person was feeling after each one.
Wow! I know she jokes about being a little fly on the
wall.... But man! She really is! Incredible how she picked
up different things & was very specific about each
conversation- as they were all very different. Thanks!!!
Oh! I took your advice about what to do too--- Wow! Did it
ever work... and fast!
