Eight ways to save $$ when calling a Psychic Reader....
1. Cut out polite conversation. If you
were my neighbor that would be rude. But you're not my neighbor, you're
my paying client and it's silly for you to pay for "how are you doing
today?" "Oh pretty good, how about you?" "blah, blah, blah."
2. Quit telling us the story first. For
one thing, if you tell me you just had a fight, then I see in the cards
he thinks you're mad at him, how can you know what I said was psychic? If you
tell us what's going on first, there is no way to know if we're being
psychic or just logical. Better to say, "This is Jenny, how's Bill
feeling towards me today?" Or "Am I going to lose my job?" Think about it... which call costs less: Questions
and answers? Or you tell me the background story first, then questions and
answers?
3. Quit calling psychics that ask you more questions than you ask them. It
should go without saying, but it doesn't. Really, a clarifying
question on occasion is one thing, but calls where they're just digging
you... that's money unwisely spent.
4. Grab free minutes when and where you can.
I'm not the only one here who gives free minutes to first time
callers. I'm not the only one here who gives you free minutes for
referrals. But the best way to find out is to
ask. The occasional 'no' won't hurt you, but
three or four free minutes is a full reading if you don't waste time. :)
5. Nothing is more important than accuracy, and speed is a close second. That's where you get the most bang for your buck.
Those of you who are already my clients know me, some answers fly out before
you've finished the question. Other times you'll hear me mutter for
five or ten seconds as I figure out what I'm seeing... in all cases, as soon as I 'get it', I share it.
If you run on to a reader who seems to be stretching the call though
that's a big red flag.
6. Use a timer. I know it sounds crazy, but I love giving
one minute readings as much as I love giving 20 minute readings. What I hate are calls that are interrupted repeatedly for you to add money minute
by minute. Every interruption is always the same exact elevator music
- every time
- every day
- every week
- every month
- of every freakin' year.... it's always the same elevator tune.
This of course leads many keen readers to suffer from PTEMS [Post Traumatic Elevator Music Syndrome] more importantly, interruptions actually do diminish accuracy. Don't you do better work when you're in a state of flow? Yes. Me too. So
for everyone's sake, use a timer, not the minute by minute addition of
money. It's so irritating I've actually blocked callers that always do it. I like money as much as the next person, but I live to be accurate and I love being sane. The less elevator music I have to listen to, the happier we'll both be. :)
7. When you can, bundle your questions.
"I've got three men written down here, what can I expect
this week from each of them?" or "I've sent my resume to 4 different
places I've written down here, which ones will I get?" "I'm trying to decide between 2
different cars, will it be the first one I saw or the second one?" If you've written them down I just shuffle and read
the answers row by row. I used to be a party girl and every weekend I
would read which clubs I would have more fun at in about two minutes. Bundling the
questions save time and increases clarity, because each
answer is relative to the others.
8. Take notes with all of us and only call the ones back who are mostly hitting it right. Take good clear notes. It's easy to filter my actual words "he's going to call you in either two weeks or two days, one or the other"
down to your hope... "He's calling me in two days!!" Then in two weeks, when he calls, some would say - "well
she was way off, she said it would be only be two days!" These misunderstandings don't happen if you take notes or record the call.
No matter how good I am at reading, no matter how well you take
notes... I will still sometimes be wrong because I am human and as such
I can make a mistake now and then. But I swear without notes some of you don't
remember the readings as well as I remember your futures! The way to
get the most accuracy for the
least money is by taking notes with all of us and only calling back the
ones that are mostly hitting it right.
