Hello 180 Pounds! Long time, no see! :))&-=
Did you think I'd given up? Quit? Maybe slipped off my healthy diet for Thanksgiving? Nope. Nope. And NOPE. 'Fat AND Lazy' is an oxymoron, a paradox, it's absolutely ridiculous. :)) The hardest working people in the world are fat people! Let's give credit, where credit is due. I am a very, very lazy woman. It never made sense for me to be fat, not one day of my life.
Now sure, I wish I'd figured that out a helluva lot sooner.
But to everyone who is either over fat or obese reading this now.... you don't have to wait till you're 57 to quit the hardest job you've ever had in your life.
Here's the YouTube video where I got under 190 pounds, the highest glass floor any yoyo dieter ever had.
And here's me at 180.
I'll be back posting the video of me at 170 whenever I get there.
The only thing that took me so long this time... From October 26th to December 9th, I was busy rebuilding the muscle I'd burned when I made the terrible mistake of letting my body think we were starving. Oops. We won't do that again. I didn't get my Tanita scales until 11/11/2010. On that date my body fat percentage was 44.6%. My body was still nearly half fat! Today it is 36.5%. I like that. :) So far, so good.
I had lost almost 10 pounds of muscle in the previous two months by letting my calories go so low that my body thought we were starving. Yikes! See why it's so important to never starve yourself on a diet of any kind? On 11/11/2010 My muscle mass weighed 97.4 and today it weighed 108.8. So correct me if I'm wrong, but if the scales say I've dropped 9 pounds since October 26th, and Tanita says I've gained 11.4 pounds of muscle mass since November 11th... then doesn't that mean I've actually gotten rid of 20.4 pounds of fat in 6 weeks??
Okay, okay, to be fair, daily fluctuations in muscle mass can be up to five pounds. That only happened once before, and it has happened again today. So still, I've burned somewhere in the neighborhood of 15 pounds of fat in the last 6 weeks? I can't stop grinning. Those are impressive numbers in the first month of any diet. But I've lost over 120 pounds this time around. And 49 of it in the last 6 months. I am never hungry more than 15 minutes and if I'd follow my alarm clocks I've set on my cell phone to remind me to eat, I wouldn't feel hunger ever. Also when people lose a lot the first two weeks of a diet, it's mostly water weight. My water weight was 39.2% on 11/11/2010 and it is still too low, but better at 44.9% today. I haven't lost water weight, I've gained it. :))
Always on with time on your predictions. From my experience one
of the best.
