Jealousy, lust and anger may be a force propelling everyone’s emotional state right now.  Know that men and women alike are looking at one another in a far more negative, albeit temporary, way.  VENUS (rules women) in Gemini is SQUARING (means conflict) MARS (rules men) in Pisces now and will be through next Sat., April 28th.  This energy will peak (be exact) on Monday, April 23rd, at 1:30am EDT.  In other words, this energy is only beginning this weekend and will hit it’s high point on Monday.

This is not a great time for personal relationships.  Male and female energies are just not getting along.  The differences between the sexes are now much more pronounced than usual.  Male / Female disagreements will abound for the next week.  

Do NOT attempt to “work things out” right now.  Just let this energy pass and bite your tongue / avoid contact if there’s a problem.  It could blow sky high if you try to “correct” the situation with this energy in effect.  Of course, if you are looking for a fight, now is the time that it’s basically a guarantee.

A new relationship begun now would carry this disagreeable force and would be fraught with difficulties.  Men and women are very demanding of one another right now and both feel very justified in those demands.  Note that we are all more sexually charged now and that this can lead us to be less discriminating than usual.  Of course, unexpressed sexuality can always lead to aggressive behavior.

Overall, try not to worry about this energy too much.  And don’t take anything happening, or not happening, all too seriously for now.  Men and women alike are not seeing things realistically or in context.  The real key here is to NOT react to the energies and create a problem that does not have to be there.

This is not to say that there is a problem with every relationship or male / female contact.  It is to say that conflict between the sexes if much more likely than usual.  Just take heed and care and do not allow unnecessary blow- ups to occur.  Bide your time!!!!!!

Like all transits, this one does have an upside and that is that it can increase everyone’s sexual desire toward the object of their affection.  And a reasonably healthy relationship will not suffer under this influence.  The problem arises between men and women when there are hidden tensions between them.

Unexpressed sexuality is the strongest key to any difficulties that could arise now.

VENUS, which rules women, wants nice, easy relationships that are loving and kind.  MARS, which rules men, wants to fulfill it’s self asserted drive and demands its satisfaction in the way that it wants.  The SQUARE between them right now, indicates that these differences between the sexes are highlighted more than usual at this time.   Compromise would be of great assistance with this energy in play, but the needs of MARS are insistent, and tend to be uncompromising.

Another important thing to note is that we all have both Venus and Mars energies within us.  Regardless of gender, some have more than others of each energy.  Some women can have more Mars energy than some men.  Therefore, it is not necessarily safe to assume that the male will be the more Mars-aggressive than the female.  It depends upon each person’s mixture of the two energies and how they stack up against one another within the relationship.  Put another way, it can be the female acting more Mars-like than the male.  As is always the case, generalizations do not always apply.

No matter what, view this for what it is.  If you’re having trouble within your relationship at the moment, back burner it for a week.  Stick with your own gender for a while if you feel a fight coming on.  If no problems are present, it is entirely possible that you’re in store for an amazingly intimate week.
