As a member of multiple social media / networking sites, I find it interesting how many people have their own personal “rules” about how they should be used. In an age when statusing, tweeting and blogging has become so popular, it’s odd that fewer are blogging on this site than when this blog forum was introduced in early 2007, thus making one blogger who has a day of blogging more than others really stand out.

My internet writings are for the sole purpose of being inspiring / uplifting to others, most especially my clients. I believe in synchronicity quite strongly and that folks tend to come across exactly what they need at the moment they need it. I almost never blog about myself, my gifts, or my availability, as I don’t use this forum for marketing purposes. There are far more effective ways to market – and Keen does a beautiful job of marketing for it’s advisors. I have a far more global perspective of blogging, as is the case for trillions in our age of statusing and tweeting. For me, we are here to share, and to do so as we see fit. My personal style is more of short snipits, as opposed to long and involved multiple paragraphs, as has been noted. But occasionally, I do write a longer blog, such as this one.

There are NO formally accepted blogging rules. One can only follow the rules of the hub webmaster, as I do – which was also noted. I do not and will not accept any attempts at censorship. Censorship is NOT acceptable in this age of blog popularity. Blogging is NOT disrespectful of other bloggers. Blogging is merely blogging. I have days that I blog many, many times, also noted. I have days I blog only once or twice. I have days that I don’t blog at all. I am consistently inconsistent. Blogging, in my view, is not a competition, nor do I accept the projected idea that it is. I find the idea of blogging competition quite small and irrelevant.

I care NOT how many views or comments my blogs produce. I DO care if a single sentence I’ve written is helpful or thought provoking to a single person in any given day. If that is the case, and I’m told by my clients it is, then I am exceedingly happy about it, as that is my intention.

I am grateful to know my wonderful clients. I am humbled that they entrust me with their life circumstances. My blogs are my attempt to give back something to them, in addition to the answers and counsel I’m asked for. My blogs have nothing to do with fellow bloggers.
