Also today, May 6, 2007, we have Venus opposing Pluto, which is exact at 10:05pm EDT tonight, but the energies will be present through Wed. of next week.

This energy tends to make everyone a bit more obsessive about love and possessions.  Be careful with money for the next few days.  This is not a good time for signing contracts or having business negotiations.  Also, try to ignore any irrational, powerful and intense exchanges, as they will not last long.

The same is true for a new relationship begun under this influence.  Any relationship that starts now would be very intense, compulsive, problematic and potentially difficult to let go of.  Venus, of course, rules love.  And Pluto is frequently obsessive.  These two are coupling now in an opposition, so you get the picture.  This mainly applies to a relationship BEGUN now, but it can have an obsessive, albeit temporary, impact on an existing relationship.

In existing relationships it can unleash subconscious influences making one or both parties act in irrational ways, thus causing conflicts.  With energies like this all of us should make a point of being aware of ourselves at all times.  Do not let hidden resentments and tensions flare up and cause manipulative behavior in an otherwise sound relationship.  Even if there is something that really needs to be handled, now is not the time, unless you are extremely good at being objective and impartial.  Otherwise you are better served by putting off those discussions ‘til after Wed., as they are more likely to be rationally resolved without this energy around.

Also, if single and looking for love, it can make one a bit indiscreet in the choosing of a lover right now, which may backfire later.  An odd fascination / attraction can accompany this energy.  Caution is advisable.

But if you keep all of the above in mind, the energy of this transit is NOT difficult at all and can be very nice.

The positive side of this Sky Transit is that it can have the effect of very intense experiences in a love relationship, IF the energy is used constructively.  It can be a powerful force for good.
