Today, July 29, 2010, Mars leaves Virgo and enters Libra at 7:47pm EST through September 14, 2010.

Libra is the sign of Mars' detriment, as it rules the opposite sign of Aries. The god of war (Mars) doesn’t do that well here. There is a tendency to be wishy-washy, something that does not suit the planet of ego. It is hard to get decisions made while this transit is going on. There just isn’t enough aggression to make things happen, so they seem to just lay there and dangle in a sort of Libra passive-aggressive way. Of course when Mars enters this cardinal sign it will set off the Great T-Square I have been talking about for months. Mars will conjunct Saturn, oppose Uranus and Jupiter, and square Pluto. Libra or not, this should be enough energy to kick off some events in the world.
