Now is all about more positive thinking and quicker results.

Mercury, the planet of communication, thought and travel entered the Sign of Gemini this morning, May 11, 2007 at 5:17am EDT and will remain in Gemini until June 6th.  Mercury rules the Signs of Gemini and Virgo and therefore is now resting in one of its two homes for the next few weeks.

We will all be more chatty, verbose and quicker to make decisions.  There will also be more honesty and straight forward speech.  If it sets off your chart in a less than desirable way, it can make one feel nervous or irritable and there’s a stronger likelihood for arguments.  

But no matter what, we’ll all be shifting mental gears more quickly than usual.  Try not to be too offended if you notice others speaking rapidly and frankly to you.  None of us can really help it with Mercury in one of its two home signs.

There is another nice thing about this placement and that is that it will make everyone tend toward more positive thinking, as that is the nature of Gemini.

One thing I have noticed about Mercury as it passes through the zodiac is that whatever sign it is in, it will square two other signs and it will oppose yet another.  When Mercury is at a square or opposition to your sign it CAN mean a period when you will encounter more arguments than usual and sometimes from out of the blue.

Mercury, now in Gemini, is at a square to Virgo and Pisces and is opposing Sagittarius.  As a result, these three signs MAY encounter some less than positive communication every now and then through June 6th.  

I am a died in the wool Virgo, with 6 planets in Virgo.  I had the unusual experience, first thing this morning, of my first Keen caller being incredibly hostile and giving me terrible feedback after a 2 minute call.  Oh well, such is life…..

No worries though. All signs experience this 3 times a year for roughly a month each time.  We just get through it and proceed with our day.  Fortunately, it is NOT something we deal with all day everyday, only here and there.  But if you are a Virgo, Pisces or Sagittarius who reads this blog, you will know why.
