Mercury Enters Leo & Current Planet Positions
Mercury, the planet of communication and travel, enters the Sign of Leo, joining the Sun, today at 1:15pm EST and remains there until August 20th.
People will be more outgoing and somewhat feisty in their communications now. Everyone’s thoughts and speech will be more willful and direct but also more optimistic.
Mercury in Leo gives us all a more energetic mind with stronger will power, perseverance and sense of purpose. We can all organize our thoughts more readily now and focus on objectives for long periods.
Below are the current planet positions (the signs each planet is in), and the date that they will change signs.
Because the moon changes signs roughly every 48 hours, it is not included in the planet positions list below.
Today, Sat., August 4th, we start the day with the Moon in Aries. At 1:31pm EST the moon will go void of course (between signs) until 7:16pm EST. It is said that during a void of course moon we should not make any major purchases or decisions, as they will not turn out quite right. At 7:16pm EST, the moon will enter Taurus and remains there until Monday night.
Next week, we will have quite a few changes in the planet lineup as well.
On Monday, Aug. 6th, Jupiter will go direct FINALLY.
On Tues., Aug. 7th Mars enters Gemini.
On Wed., Aug. 8th, Venus retrogrades back into Leo.
Also, worth noting is that we currently still have FIVE planets in retrograde, although we’ll be down to only FOUR in retrograde come Monday. So if you’re noticing many things not working out quite right or being slow to work out for you, this is why, at least in part.
