In addition to psychic readings / intuitive life coaching, I provide the following energy attunements, in person or "at a distance" upon request. I am a Third Degree / Advanced Reiki practitioner, a Light Worker and member of Lightarian Institute for Global Human Transformation (L.I.G.H.T.) since Feb. 2000. Local clients may schedule an appointment. Clients in other parts of the globe may request the treatments through "distance sending". This may be done while on the phone OR a time can be scheduled in which the client knows the work is being done and should stay in a relaxed, non-active position during the treatment for best results. REIKI: Reiki (pronounced "ray-key") is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It was rediscovered by Dr. Mikao Usui in the early 1900's. Reiki is administered by the "laying on hands" or "distance sending" and techniques such as this have been practiced for thousands of years. Reiki is a very powerful healing. Applying Reiki is practical and useful. It accelerates and strengthens any healing process from bruising to chronic illness to mental/emotional imbalance. Reiki can be used at any time and in any situation when we can lay our hands on (or send to) ourselves or another. Rei - Spiritual Wisdom The word "Rei" means universal and this is the definition most have accepted. Ki - Life Energy "Ki" is life energy. It is also known as the vital life force or the universal life force. This is the non-physical energy that animates all living things. Third Degree / Advanced Usui Reiki Ryoho Practitioner: The basic element of life energy is the essence of this healing practice. Because this is so, Reiki can be used in any situation where there is a desire for and openness to healing. Culturally, we know little about this element of life energy. It is in the practice of the art, consciously being with this energy, that we learn more and become more aware. The Usui System of Reiki Healing is first a healing practice focusing on treatment. Daily practice is ideal. The practice balances and strengthens the functions and health of the physical body, enhances relaxation and self-awareness, and quiets and nourishes the spirit. It is a mind ~ body ~ soul technique that is spiritually guided, healing and cleansing. It's a powerful spiritual experience for most people. Toxins that have been stored in the body may be released along with feelings and thought patterns that are no longer useful. After a reiki attunement it is important to understand what is happening so that you can support its completion. Whenever change takes place a period of adjustment is necessary so that the body and various parts of your life can get used to the healthy new conditions. You may need more rest, and it can also be helpful to spend more time quietly contemplating your life and any changes you might need to make to support a healthier lifestyle. Third Degree / Advanced Karuna Reiki Practitioner: Karuna is a Sanskrit word and is used in Hinduism, Buddhism and Zen. It is translated to mean "any action that is taken to diminish the suffering of others" and could also be translated as "compassionate action". Karuna is the motivating quality of all enlightened beings who are working to end suffering on Earth. They continually send an unlimited amount of healing energy and guidance to us. As one develops more enlightenment, one becomes more receptive to the Karuna that is being sent by all enlightened beings. Thus healing is quickened. The Karuna system of Reiki was developed by William L. Rand. It's symbols were channeled by several Reiki Masters that believed them to have greater value and potential than had been previously accessed. Many of the symbols used in Usui Reiki are also used in Karuna Reiki, but with differing effects - all of which are beneficial and go to the individual's "greatest good". Recipients often report experiences with their Spirit Guides, Angels and Higher Self and a feel the healing presence of other enlightened beings. Karuna Reiki increases, and is based upon, the awareness of "all are one". It is NOT religion based, it is a Spiritual awakening and guide. Healing the "Shadow Self" Karuna Reiki heals "The Shadow Self". We have all heard it said that we create our own reality, yet occasionally we have unwanted experiences - experiences that may be painful, and limiting in some way. Often, we don't know how we created these experiences, or what we can do to stop them. There is a feeling of being powerless over them and a belief that something or someone outside of us is creating these negative experiences. When this happens, we are still creating our own reality, but we are cut off from the part of ourselves that is creating the unwanted. We create reality not only with our conscious mind, but also with our subconscious mind. So a more accurate statement about our creative powers is, "The sum total of our being is the absolute master of our experience." This includes those parts of ourselves we are unaware of - "The Shadow Self". The Shadow Self is created when we refuse to accept our feelings that have been labeled "unacceptable", based on society telling us "don't do that, don't be like that, don't say that". Yet society does not teach us how to deal with those negative feelings in a healthy way, so the way to deal with them is to deny and shove them down inside ourselves. The impact is depression, loss of energy, sickness, lack of prosperity and happiness, etc. Those that have the courage to accept this and desire to heal from it benefit greatly from the Karuna style of Reiki. Third Degree / Advanced Tera-Mai Reiki Practitioner: Tera-Mai Reiki, developed in 1983 by Kathleen A. Milner, has the energy of earth (Reiki), fire (Sakara), water (Sophi-El) and air (Angeliclight). The healing/psychic aspect of fire is a sparkling, prickling energy that works both in the aura and physical body. The healing/psychic aspect of water is pulsating cool waves of energy that works to bring up deep emotional issues to be felt and released. The healing/psychic aspect of air is mentally healing and energizes the third eye. Tera-Mai Reiki attunements create a channel into the crown connecting the recipient with Reiki, allowing for fast and dramatic healings. SOME of the symbols that are used with all forms of Reiki listed above: Choku Rei: The "Number 1 Symbol", also known as Power and Focus Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen: The "Distance / Connection" symbol that allows for distance healing. Sei Heki: heals mental / emotional, brings harmony, "God and Humanity become One". Zonar: Heals on the cellular level, past life issues, child abuse. Halu: Heals unconscious patterns, the shadow self, sexual and physical abuse, dispels psychic and psychological attack Harth: Heals relationships, addictions and develops good habits and "compassionate action". Rama (Mara): Heals lower chakras, clears the mind and negative energies, harmonizes upper and lower chakras, and creates determination and the manifestation of material goals. Gnosa: Connects the higher and lower self, improves learning ability, heals communication, increases creativity. Kriya: Creates grounding, manifestation of goals and priorities, heals the human race. Lava: Assists one in claiming their power, heals co-dependence and reality awareness, empowers one's goals, heals the Earth. Shanti: Brings peace, creates trust in life, heals insomnia, fear and panic, manifests the big picture / best results, increases clairvoyance.
