I’m covering the Moon in Virgo Opposite Mars and Venus Sextiling Uranus in today’s blog.  These transits could make for some interesting and fun times this weekend.  

Note that anytime I write about astrology in my blog, I will always be covering “Sky Transits” which affects everyone!!!  The only question is how it’s hitting your individual natal chart.  But you’ll get the general idea of them here.

I:  MOON IN VIRGO OPPOSING MERCURY IN PISCES:

Today’s Moon is in Virgo and will remain in Virgo until Sunday, April 1st at 9:37am EDT.  A Virgo Moon makes everyone a little more guarded with their feelings.  So don’t be too terribly upset if you don’t hear a lot of emotional overtures this weekend.  
On the other hand, you probably won’t feel like speaking them either.  

The upside to the Virgo Moon is that people will have:
more clarity of thought through Sunday morning;
pay closer attention to details;
act in a more efficient / practical way;
have more compassion and an instinctive “knowing” as to how to make someone else feel better.    

Virgo Moon people show their love through action, but their words tend to be practical.  I read somewhere that “Virgo Women are the caregivers of the zodiac and great Mothers”.  I believe that is because Virgo naturally rules the 6th house of Health.  So they’re the ones to come to when you’re sick or hurt.  I know this well because my natal Moon is in Virgo.  My feelings are always much more intense than others credit me with.  And I shock people to no end when I start verbalizing that intensity. So don’t make the mistake of misinterpreting this energy – watch the action and lower your expectations for the words.

When the Moon is in Virgo, most people have an increased interest in travel, communication and information in general.

This Virgo Moon opposes Mercury, which is in Pisces right now.  This opposition is likely to make everyone a bit more antsy or restless.  So this weekend may be a good time to be out and about.  People could be experiencing conflict between their emotions and reason. Or this could make for very fruitful dialogue with another or internally.

II:  VENUS IN TAURUS SEXTILES URANUS IN PISCES:

This Sky transit is currently in effect and will be exact tomorrow morning, Sat., March 31st at 4:23am EDT.  It will add to the general restlessness of the weekend, but in an exciting way.  

Everyone will want a break from routine and will seek out the company of others they consider stimulating, while probably avoiding anyone that may bore them.

 It’s also easier to attract new friends and maybe a potential new lover under this influence.  But do keep in mind that since Uranus is involved that any new friendship or relationship begun now is unlikely to last too terribly long, although it will be exciting while it lasts.  IF it does last, it’s likely to revolutionize both of your lives in some way.  But both of you will need to have plenty of freedom.

Keep in mind that, as a general rule, people do not have to make so many demands on one another and they do it mostly out of mutual insecurity.

 In other words, many times the need to demand from another is not necessary, it’s an illusion that’s been contrived within us out of our fear!!!  

This energy gives us a little bit of understanding as to why that does not have to be.  We’ll all be more excited, fun loving and less demanding.

In general, it’s a great time to socialize with friends and family.  This transit almost guarantees fun and excitement.  The air is charged with pleasant electricity.

This transit is a Sextile so it is not as aggressive as some transits.  So you have to USE the energy to experience it.

Put more simply, Use it or Lose it!!!  

So get out and about this weekend.  Look your best.  Expect to have fun.  Go with the flow.  And enjoy the weekend while being open to unexpected incidents. You just might be surprised who you bump into.
