~~ARE WE CREATING PROBLEMS WHERE THERE AREN'T ANY?~~

I remember thinking that my friend, who is so pretty, so smart, and so full of life asking me if her guy was going to leave her.

I was amazed. Why in the world would either one of these dynamic people leave eachother?

Then as our converstion continued.. and we begin to talk about their day and/or week together. I began to show her that alot of the problems she thought she was having with him weren't even there. Problems like him being home from work late... she said he's 10 minutes to 30 minutes late everyday.. and I showed her that he is a social butterfly with a strong gift for gabbing with the guys. and that 10-30 wasn't bad timing.

to make a long story alittle shorter.....as we talked I showed her that these things she was concerned about were just her way of feeling alittle ignored, or maybe alittle jealous that someone might have a small amout of his attention other than her.... thus she was creating problems that dont even exist.

the morel of our little tale... is sometimes things arent always as they appear...

I am a social buttefly as well.  I can never leave work on time.  I start chatting with co-works in the parking lot and usually they have to say "Hey I have to get going" then I realize we have been talking at least 10 minutes.

My Husband asked me to call him when I was actually in the car so he knew I was on my way home, this way he did not worry that I may have been in an accident since I am 30 minutes away.

Maybe your friend could ask her hubby to call her when he gets in the car.  Her hubby may not think 10 minutes is a big deal, but it is to the person that is waiting for you.

I really get such a kick out of your Mama's quotes for the day!  Everything you write is good, but your mother is the icing on the cake! :))

Hugs to you and yours!
