~~SHOPPING CART BRAVE~~
THE SATURDAY MORNIN' GROCERY STORE TRIP
My mother is one of the bravest people I know. and one thing's for sure... she has the achilles tendons of Super Woman... cause every saturday mornin' we would go to the grocery store and she would let me push the shopping cart.. it wasnt that i asked her to let me push it.. it was just automatic that i took the raines or should i say took it over.. and zoomed down the ilse behind her.. i dont remember her ever saying "look out .. dont run over my heals or slow down that cart "... or any other thing ... but for sure i remember running her heals over .. not on purpuse , ofcourse, but i have been to the store with kids and by the time i got down the second ilse i would be yellin' " give me that cart.. you aint pushin' nothin' behind me again".... even to this day .. and i am in my 40's now ... when mama and i go to the store .. she has to use the automated cart cause of her health .. but i still push the cart.. and on occassion ... ill bump her to reminder her of other times....
so here's to you mama.. sorry about all those sore heals so long ago.. but thank you for being so brave, knowing in advance every saturday ,morning you would surely have a bruised heal but taking it anyway.
