As it was in the past is how it will be in the future....
Yes probably, if you believe so.
The problem with humans is that we tend to think that if something has happened in the past we expect it to reappear in the future. We put expectations on things and people based on our own baggage. Guess what? People, circumstances and items tend to behave as expected. We just need to start thinking differently and not put expectations on anyone or anything.
Instead of "I always fail with men." Try "There are men out there that I know I can work things out with."
Instead of "I never get the job I want." Try "There are millions of jobs out there, I know I'll get one that I love." (Take the emphasis on a particular one.)
Instead of "I'm always broke." Try "I don't know how it's going to happen, but I am wealthy."
Instead of "Mr. X has to ask me for a date, we are soul mates." Try "The best men always asks me out, even if I don't know them all yet."
Instead of "My husband is always lazy." Try "My husband surprises me in ways never expected and always helpful."
Instead of "Mr/Ms X has to see it my way or it won't happen the way I want." Try "I'm not sure how it's going to happen, but it will happen regardless of the good opinions of others."
Get away from logic problems because even the most logical of theories have given way to the illogical. What's a logic problem? It's a scientific formula:
For all X if X is a cat, X is brown.
X is a cat. Fluffy is a cat. Fluffy=X. Fluffy is brown.
NO LOGIC.
For all X if X is a man, X is a jerk.
X is a jerk. Sam is a man. Sam=X. Sam is a jerk.
Most likely Sam will act as a jerk toward you if you put that type of energy out there to him and expect it.
NO LOGIC.....Get the idea?
IS YOUR LOGIC FLAWED? Are you the grand observer and things are doing what are expected? It's because you believe it. You're watching it and expecting precise results.
Even though it's a pretty simple thing to realise, this is one of the hardest things for one to dismiss and try to "think anew".
It is so engrained in people to believe that history repeats itself. In fact, Chinese Philosophical Scholars believed (up to the Ch'ing Dynasty 1911) that history was cyclical and there would be a return to Han 25-225 AD China's Golden Age. An entire culture was set up to believe that history always repeats itself.
Looking at Quantum Physics, briefly, scientists obverse that molecules actually start behaving as they are expected to when they are being watched. They stop when they aren't. Other dicotomies are that energy acts as both waves and particles depending on the observer. The link below is fascinating if you are interested in this subject.
