Are you positive or negative?
We are all born with good thoughts, but many of us become negative with age. Life often has a way of tainting us or jading us from our experiences. When you think positive, you create positive, it helps to attract good things to you. But how on earth can you be positive when your money situation is in a shambles, or the love of your life has left you? It’s most definitely not easy, but it can be done with a small amount of practice.
Every night before bedtime, try to give yourself five minutes with no distractions, I mean no distractions. Sometimes I have to shut everything off including phones to have peace. Relax; close your eyes and start visualizing yourself sitting on the shore of a peaceful lake or pond, surrounded by vibrant flowers. Gaze around and you see nature in its glory. Keep affirming to yourself a statement like, "I am not going to remain miserable any longer. I am going to start enjoying my life; I will embrace my share of happiness that I deserve”. "I am ready." Keep doing this exercise every night. Try it for 5 days in a row. While this exercise may sound silly, after 5 nights you will have changed your thought process to start thinking of good things once again. Once you have mastered this and feel confident in what you’re doing just keep going.
Another great trick is to post sticky notes on your computer with positive affirmations or better yet anywhere in your dwelling. Remember this; when we are growing up and we have nurturing people around us that lift us up by being positive, we excel. We have self esteem. When we are raised by people who knock us down, we drown and our belief system gets very misconstrued. Sometimes we just have to learn to re-program ourselves.
I know it’s not always so easy. Aren’t you worth it? I think so.
With Love,
Michelle
