The Holiday's
I have been thinking about what could say about the Holiday's. I will tell you my two favorite songs are: "O Holy Night and Have yourself a Merry little Christmas". When I hear Have yourself a Merry little Christmas I get choked up because I miss my Grandfather. He was the one who held my family together and made my holiday's what they were. I miss him. However I am blessed that he was and always will be part of my life and his memory and the love I have for him will always be with me.
Our special times can be happy or pain staking and this is that time of the year when we are either joyful or miserable. Here are some things I find that help when I am just plain out feeling crummy.
1} I watch a really funny movie. No love stories they make it worse escpically if you are heartbroken/Lay off the drama, just for now.
2} Take a walk even if it's cold, it helps you remember you are alive
3} Volunteer at a shelter - You will see that there are people that are worse off then you and there is nothing like giving back. It humbles me, and I feel grateful and good to help.
4} Write down 5 wonderful things about yourself. I know you can find 5, you will probably end up with more.
5} Remember there is always tomorrow and I promise you - seasons change and so does life. There will be a better time and you will look back one day and remember how unhappy you were and you will be so happy you won't care.
For all the things I wish this Holiday season one is that everyone finds peace, love and good health. May your heart be filled with joy beyond belief.
Love,
Michelle
