Unprofessional and unethical

I have been noticing a lot more readers are advertising that 'other psychics are fakes.' I feel the need to address this because either they do not realize how that sounds or how competitive it is. Certainly there may be some who are posing as psychic or just maby they are and read differently. For instance my predictions may take a month or even as a client told me tonight, it took a year for everything to complete. My predictions have been validated time and time again. Am I ever wrong? Sure, no psychic can say they are 100% accurate or they leave no room for free will of their client or others in the clients life or who may be in question.
I am offended when I read such a statement on someones page even if I agree not every one is what they say, it still is not for me to post in my advertising. It seems to indicate they are the only real deal. This is untrue. It is also unprofessional & unethical to say such a statement. It belittles those one may not intent to insult. It also injures the very site they read on and this can result in less business on the site. Just gives it an openly bad name & reputation when a reader insults other readers on the very same site they work on.
Hopefully in saying this I won't recieve useless and unwarrented bad ratings in retaliation but I risk just that because it ills me to read an advertisment that intentionally insults other readers. Advertising ourselfs should NOT include mentioning any other co-workers, which is what we are as long as we work in the same field on the same site and espessially a spiritual one at that!

It is unprofessional and desperate. I wish that fellow psychics would have some kind of good sense and not make this about competition. There is no competition. We get the callers that we are suppose to have. I turn callers away if I do not feel like I am the right reader for them.

Amen.  Thanks for pointing this out. Additionally, those who advertise such things have probably not even spoken to those whom they are referring to as fake.  It's uncalled for.

I couldn't agree more:))  Very timely blog, I can maybe understand posting your opinion on the subject maybe once, but over and over again does not make me feel that those who call others fake are anymore real.

I am very much in agreement with you.  The blatant disregard for others feelings sure would not make me want to call the person doing all the complaining.  It offends me also and I am glad that you have pointed this out.  I just don't bother to read people's blogs who feel it is okay to harm others and their businesses.  I still find that flooding the front page with blog after blog and pushing others to the back page offensive also.  We should have some respect for those who work for their living just as we do.  There is definitely enough people for all of us to do well without trying to ruin someone else just so we look a little better.  Thanks for sharing this for it is something that needed to be said.

The most interesting part is that this advissor has callers accusing her of being scripted and fake. Ironic isn't it?

Agree. I realize that we may not connect well with each client, but it is not fair to say that we are fake experts. I actualy take time out and shuffle the cards and look into the situation in the eyes of the tarot. I try to keep my rate low, for economy reasons, and it has gotten a lot better. Nice blog thank you

I agree with you all! I state in plain language that no reader is ever 100%accurate and I do not claim to be. It has everything to do with the advisor's connection to her client, and her connection to her cards if she reads Tarot, as I do. You are all speaking for everyone and that is a good thing! It is nice to know that we can consider ourselves co-workers here! Yet, with the high level of compettition, it would seem that the opposite would be true. I have just started getting regular calls here and I appreciate every single client that has chosen me. We are getting the calls that we are "supposed" to get, as there is nothing random in the Universe!
excellent blog!

Hey there. I just take it with a grain of salt. I know what you are saying. However there is one problem with Keen that has driven me nuts for years now.

They screen no one. Customers calling Keen don't realize this either in a lot of cases. Any Tom, Dick, Larry or Sally can sign up as a "Master Psychic" whatever, and do things which include selling spells that GUARANTEE your lover's return for like $100.00 or tell people that they  have a curse on them or some sort of negativity on them and they need to do a "cleansing" on them so they set the phone down and go watch Tyra Banks or cook some Hamburger Helper while hoping the caller is stupid enough to sit there and wait for "the work" to be done.
In that case I DO Feel that the ethical readers should stand up and call Shenanigans on these kind of con artists that DO exist here on Keen, but I do NOT agree with "Master Psychic Joe Schmoe" saying he's 100% accurate and he can GUARANTEE results ...and the rest of us are fakes.

And you know ... it's not any of my business what people charge their clients, but those people I see at $20.00 + a minute.... how the heck do they sleep at night knowing someone probably just spent their entire paycheck in a matter of minutes?

Yes the pricing also leads to outragouse & unnessassary bids, but that is another topic. True blooded psychics want to truly help people and you can not for $20 a min. That's insane as are Sylvia Brown & her son's prices. They do the same thing we do! I would never charge that much.

Hey... I used to have that on my headlines... The Real Deal... and it was "never" meant as an insult to anyone.  I had clientele who put derogatory comments about what I gave them, so I listed that in my headlines.  I have been doing readings like daily for more than 22years.  If someone is not a real reader, well they know whether they are scamming a client or not and Spirit will take care of it.  I put it to emphasize that I am a real deal, not the only one.  Matter of fact my pet peeve are those who raise the click prices to keep the customers to themselves.  That is more Unprofessional and unethical than saying that I am "The Real Deal".  Complain about that for awhile.
