Fantastic Friday
Phone lines are up and running again, and I could not be happier. So in celebration of being back on KEEN today I have reduced my rates.
Murphy's law (IF IT CAN GO WRONG, IT WILL GO WRONG) went into play over the Memorial Day weekend as I tried setting up a tent for my little guy with Down syndrome and the poles were missing. My sister arrived with her brand new tent and also found that her tent, minus poles, was impossible to set up. Thank goodness we had a spare tent to help her out. It's these little things you remember into the future as a memorable Memorial Day. The weather turned out nice, but a little too cold for my little guy to sleep out since he is on antibiotics right now. My husband found his chain saw wouldn't work to cut the wood for the fire, and then the motor to his other saw went kapoot. Our phone lines cutting in and out of service for a week just added onto the long list of obstacles.
As I've said before, keep your sense of humor and wits about you. Life is certainly what we make it. It's all in how you perceive the events or obstacles you encounter. We can focus on what went wrong or what went right. Serenity Stars Law is to focus on the rights in all the wrongs or find the good in every situation that seems to have run amuck!
