SUPPORT SYSTEM
Do you have a support system? Surrounding yourself with postive people who share your vision can certainly be a benefit to achieving success in the future. Negative people can only squash your dreams, and try to take away your vision for success. It's important to find people in your life who will help you be the best you can be. There is nothing like your own cheerleading section in this game called life.
Does this mean our friends can't nudge us in the right direction by giving us honest feedback? The best friends you can find are the one who will nudge you towards success, even if it means a few honest comments that can help us grow. I personally have not wanted to hear some of the comments, but I know they have only wanted what is best for me. Staying open to our best friends, and critics strengthens the path and friendships. Often the ones I love tell me the things I need to hear, not to harm me but to help. My best friend knows it's okay to agree that we disagree about a subject. There is no harm in disagreeing, as long as it does not hinder your personal growth. I've found that the best friendships are the ones that do challenge my growth.
The best asset I have is the belief in myself that I can attain my goals. Our belief in ourselves can make or break us. We are defined by what we believe. In other words, if I believe I will fail... chances are pretty good that I will because I won't even try. If, on the other hand, I believe I will succeed, then I will put my best foot forward and go for the goal! The next best asset is family and friends who support me, when even I may sit back and question my growth. A support system is great to fall back on when you are having a bad day. They can lift your spirits, help come up with possible solutions, or perhaps tell you to stop moaning and start DOING.
