Monday night here, and I feel like a survivor.  Yes, that's right...I survived Monday!

Actually, it wasn't a bad day.  Oh, I've definately had some of those and trust me, this day doesn't even compare.  The Spring weather was beautiful again today.  However, a friend of mine that lives in WA sent me pic's today of her being snowed on.  Guess the weather has a mind of it's own...well, figuratively speaking.  On a more profound level, it serves it's purpose of marking the time.  And, yes, we're right on schedule!

MONDAY.....

  • Is ruled by the Moon.
  • Its associated color is white.
  • Is good to begin rituals for reconciliations, dreams, receptivity, love, voyages (to encourage good or safe), messages, female fertility.

Mr Kelly's Psychic Potpourri:

If you wish to link your concious mind with your psychic awareness, if you wish to use tarot cards or rune stones or other tools to glimpse possible future events, create this blend and simmer to stimulate your psychic mind.

  • 3 tbsp. galangal
  • 1 tbsp. star anise (or 2 whole)
  • 1 tbsp. lemon grass
  • 1 tbsp. thyme
  • 1 tbsp. rose petals
  • A pinch of mace
  • A pinch real saffron

Mix and charge the herbs in a small bowl.  Visualize your psychic awareness as being under your control.  Smell the fragrance rising from the herbs.  Inhale the energies.  Relax, chant the following words, and foretell:

Starlight swirls before my eyes;  Twilight furls its wisdom wise;  Moonlight curls within the skies;  The time has come to prophesize.

Spell of the Day:

A Marriage Knot (to get a person to marry you)

How to:  Take him to church on Sunday, and while he's deep in prayer, take a thread from his suit or other item of clothing and tie knots in it while chanting:  "Marry me on this spot, or love won't linger with this knot."

The spell will work, but might ruin a perfectly wonderful relationship.

Bewitching Brownies

  • 1 cup shortening
  • 4 (1-ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 tablespoons dark rum
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Melt the shortening and chocolate in top of a double broiler over simmering water.  Remove from heat and add the sugar and rum, mixing well.  Add the eggs and vanilla extract and beat until well blended.  Stir in the flour and salt, and then fold in the chopped nuts.

Spread the batter evenly in a well-greased 13 X 9 X 2-inch baking pan.  Bake for 25 minutes in a 350-degree preheated oven.  Cool completely in pan, frost with your favorite chocolate or vanilla frosting (if desired), and then cut the brownies into squares or bars and enjoy.  (This recipe yields about 1 1/2 dozen 3 X 2-inch brownie bars.)

Monday Night Ghost Story

Since moving back to Oklahoma to help with family matters, I have taken on a job, in addition to phone readings, but also as an instructor at the local Y.
This job is in a building that is old, like most of the buildings are in this part of the country. I never thought 5 months ago when I started that I was going to have a run in with the other side...but I was wrong.

One afternoon, several weeks ago after a private lesson, the owner followed me out to lock up, as the day was over. I believe it was a Saturday, and on that day, the building closes early.

The following Monday back at work on a break, I noticed I had some missed alerts on my phone. As I checked on them, the first one was a text from my neice. After tending to that, I see that I missed a call from a number I didn't recognize. Another instructor taking a break with me looked over and confirmed it was the gym. I told him I had the work number stored, but he assured me it was another line, but definately from our work. "Hmmm, wonder why work was calling me?", I asked. "I missed this call last Saturday at 1:15 pm", I read off the phone screen. "I wonder who was calling me from here...wait a minute," I paused, thinking how I left with the owner at 12:30pm and no one was here, as we closed up. "Oh, this place has a ghost.", the my friend explained. Other instructors in the breakroom with me began to agree, and share random stories of their encounter with him.
So, I am receiving calls from the other side now...joy.

So, how's that for a cool one? I had one of the psychic's I work with that is clairvoyant tell me about him, too. Spooky...just the way I like ;-)
