Lazy Sunday...love it!

I get so much done on Sundays. Already deciding I'm not sure which is the Sabbath, Saturday (Jewish) or Sunday (Christian), I'm going to just follow my heart and treat my higher self and creator respectfully daily and surely that's gotta count for something?

Today was a good day for me to go through my old books, pictures, journals, etc. I found a wealth of information by doing so and have used the majority of the information I found to complete today's blog.

On that note, this will be the most personal blog to date from me. See side's of me you've yet to know!

This is from my diary about a visit with friends of mine:

"...she talked about magik. Everyday, every moment we experience a new experience in life that makes us who we are, therefore, always changing.

The problem is everyone still lives in the past & thus (bleep) us up. No-one or no-thing is the same today as it was, let's say, five years ago. This makes perfect sense. This is why relationships seldom work out. We expect our partner to be the same person as they once were when you (we) first met them."

Ode to my higher-self

As the new day dawns, I wake.

A new experience, lessons to learn

To remain focused to my cause

The courage to stand is what I yearn

The past is gone, I'm new, not the same

yet I cannot help wonder of yesterday

The luck, the love, the security's, the loss

Trying magickally to find my way

In the present, I can deal and cope

I can accept what I have been given

Yet sometimes I cannot and I know

That despite, I will continue living

Thank God for you, my inner peace

Spell of the Day:

Mr Kelly's Prayer Meditation for Strength

You will need two candles...one of the color 'Scarlet' and the other colored 'Orange'. You will also need a candle snuffer and any other accessories to personalize and empower your workplace. Use the 'Strength' & the '6 of Wands' cards from any good tarot deck for focal points. This is not necessary, but will prove to be helpful.

After preparing your magickal work area with proper ritual and invoking, pray the following, vibrating the names in bold. Names are written as pronounced:

"I call forth El-oh-heem Gi-boor

Mighty God of Strength,

To give me the fire from Mars

As I face my competition.

I call forth Strength, Wit & Skill

for great is the power within me!

I call forth the Archangel Khamael (from the Angelic order Serapheem)

to work with El-oh-heem Gi-boor

God of Iron, Strength and Mars

to lend me the courage and power

I need in the face of (personalize this part)"

Now light the Scarlet candle (the color of Giburah & power of Mars). As you light the scarlet candle, say:

"I FEEL my Power!

I KNOW my Power!

I ASSERT my Power!

I go forth to meet all challenges

for I am the master of all.
And all challenges bring me Victory & Success"!

Now light the Orange candle (The color of concentration). As you light this candle, say:

"Lend to me the power of stamina in my (personalize this part)".

Now snuff out your candles (never blow them out, for this only breathes life back into the spell your finishing.).

Say meaningfully: "So it is & so shall it be"!

The spell is complete. Finish by closing your magick circle using proper ritual.  Don't want entities lurking around idle for no reason...give them the license to depart!
