Earth & Air...elements of thanks!

As most of you know, there are four elements, and a fifth if you count 'Spirit'.  If not, I'll catch you up;  Earth, Air, Fire & Water...and Spirit...now we're on the same page...

Anyway, today as I was working outdoors, there were scattered showers...and wind.  Cold, but tolerable.

What stood out to me the most was the beautiful smell of Earth.  I mean, the element was at it's peak today and I could literally feel all aspects of it's force. 

As a general rule, I believe in harmonizing the elements in my life.  Daily would be nice, be a lot would be more like it.  But, the balance was off today as Earth and Air joined forces to create some wonderful energy.

So, I need to look deeper into this, as I feel the meaning is more profound than just the way the air smelt.  To help, I shall consult the book, '777 And Other Quabalistic Writings Of Aleister Crowley', as it is a thorough list of all correspondences.  Did I ever mention my Quabalistic beliefs?  Yes, that's my goal, but I still have a nice mix of my 'Wiccan' younger years.  You probably would agree if you've ever read one of my blogs.

Back to the meaning of today...Earth and Air...the great duo!

Earth:

The correspondances to both of these elements continue on and on, as everything has a connection to the Greater source...the Great Work.

Now with all the information I've collected, I can now cast a productive spell, read or divine for specific knowledge, know what scent would be most powerful for today, etc.  These are all the emotions and feelings sent through me earlier today as I felt the 'energy' of the two elements combined...plus some.

Magik, life, just everything is so profound...so deep...mystical and magical.  I am most thankful for these times, as it's easy to get clouded from the veil of negativity.  This too keeps us earth-bound, incapable of having one foot on the path, closer to Kether, traveling the Tree of Life.
